Fair Use & Fraud Prevention Policies To preserve our Free Fundraising Commitment to you and to protect all our registered causes and their supporters, Simply Fundraising kindly ask you to consider our Fair Use and Fraud Prevention policies before you apply.

1. Fair Use Policy:

As part of our Free Fundraising Commitment to you, we pay all the ongoing monthly costs associated with maintaining your Simply Fundraising Prepaid MasterCard® card account. In return we ask that you use your card to generate a minimum of £2 a month in free donations for your chosen cause. Please note the £2 minimum donation is equivalent to a card spend of less than £25 a week with our retail partners, so it's easy to keep Giving from LivingTM a fun, free and rewarding activity for you.

Alternatively, we have a Fair Use category for those members who consistently generate less than £2 a month in free donations. In those cases we ask for a Fair Use maintenance fee of £5 to cover the cost of maintaining the card account. This fee covers six months membership of the Giving from Living™ scheme, regardless of the amount donated during that period.

Please note we always take into account your previous donation history before placing you in the Fair Use category. For complete fairness, if you do drop below the £2 monthly minimum we will first inform you by email and give you ample opportunity (at least two full months) to bring your free donations above the minimum level before any fee is charged.

Where the £5 Fair Use maintenance fee is applicable and we are unable to collect it from your card account within 30 days of request, you give us authority to close your card account and redeem your balance to you by cheque, according to the standard MasterCard® terms and conditions.

Unused cards: If you apply and decide not to use your card, your account will be cancelled after 3 months. In such cases we will retain the £15 registration deposit to cover the costs associated with issuing the card.

2. Fraud Prevention Policy:

Membership of the Giving from LivingTM scheme is at our sole discretion. If our card team are unable to verify your registration details then you may be asked to provide additional forms of identification to help them verify your identity. If the forms of identification provided appear to be fraudulent in any way we reserve the right to a) discard the application and b) to forward details on to the Police for further investigation. The £15 registration deposit will be retained in these cases to cover the cost of processing fraudulent applications.

1. Apply and receive your Simply Fundraising Prepaid MasterCard® card
   
   
   One simple online application gets you started and there are no credit checks required. A refundable membership deposit of £15 is required.
   
   
   Tip: You may cancel your membership at any time; your membership deposit will be refunded in full if you have generated a minimum of £50 in free donations since receiving your card. If you have not, the £15 membership deposit is retained to cover the cost of issuing and maintaining your card. Remember, you are taking this card to raise funds and get rewards - and its very easy to do!
2. Load your shopping funds onto your card, simply and for free
   
   Loading your card is easy - just click "load" on the home page. It's free for £200 and over (under £200 costs from 50p). You can load your card online 24 hours a day, or by phone during business hours on 0843 289 5317, where someone will be pleased to help you.
   
   Tip: Choose a free regular monthly top-up to maximise your donations, rewards and ease of use - you'll never forget to load your card again!
3. Use your card to pay for your normal shopping
   
   Pay in-store or online as normal, with any of the partners listed in the fundraising directory, and you will achieve your free donations and rewards. There are no monthly charges or transaction charges for using your card. You can use your card anywhere that displays the MasterCard® logo, just as you would normally use any chip & pin card.
   
   Tip: Shop with our fundraising directory partners to generate your unique benefits. Check the directory regularly as it's growing all the time!
4. Your free donations are added automatically
   
   You need not worry about a thing! Login to your online donation account to see in real time how much you have given to your causes. You'll be really shocked at how quickly it adds up!
5. Claim your free goodies from the Reward Scheme
   
   10 reward points are added to your account for every £1 you raise. Rewards are available from just 2,500 points so you can earn a free flight to many European Destinations in just a few months! Check out the Reward Calculator to see how quickly you'll earn your first free flight.
