Simply Fundraising was established in 2010 to provide a new, innovative and above all, simple, way for any cause in the UK to raise extra funds for free.

Big or small, Simply Fundraising is specifically designed to help causes and their supporters to reach their fundraising targets faster, by tapping into a vital part of all our daily lives where we spend our money.

Anyone who shops at a supermarket, puts petrol in their car, enjoys a meal out or buys an item of clothing could be a Free Fundraiser for their favourite cause!





Simply Fundraising was founded by two Essex-based businessmen, Tony Croft and Dennis Lawrence. As with many families, the Crofts and the Lawrences often found themselves overwhelmed by the number of good local causes appealing to them for funds.

Tony and Dennis both understood how difficult it can be for local causes to raise funds. As businessmen themselves, they also realised the importance of regular custom to ensure survival and growth of local business.

Putting both of these ideas together, in 2008 Tony and Dennis created the unique Circle of Giving Community concept: Local supporters could raise free funds for their chosen local causes, simply by providing regular custom to their local businesses – all for mutual benefit.

After two years of development in conjunction with partners such as Clydesdale Bank and MasterCard, Simply Fundraising was finally born.





Tony and Dennis’s goal is for Simply Fundraising to become the most widely-used free fundraising platform in the UK.

As members of the Fundraising Standards Board, Simply Fundraising is committed to the highest standards of professional conduct, and to providing a truly unique, high-quality service to all UK causes and their supporters.

All causes, supporters and businesses are welcome to join in for mutual benefit.
